Croatia - Dubrovnik

We are back from a fun family trip to Croatia. We left London the day before the eruption in Iceland and returned the day after European airspace reopened, so it was perfectly timed to avoid the volcanic ash disruptions. We spent the first few days in the walled city of Dubrovnik at the southern tip of Croatia, which is east of Italy across the Adriatic Sea, about in line with Rome. We'll put up some more photos later in the week of our time in the Dalmatian islands.

Perfect weather for sightseeing

Enjoying the late Gothic architecture of the Sponza Palace

Sitting by the Adriatic

Wheeeee!

Taking a rest on the city walls

View of new Dubrovnik from the old city walls

Rooftops of the old town centre (we stayed in an apartment somewhere in the middle)
